Build a 911 from the original order sheet

Every carmaker's configurator shows you this year's model, and nobody keeps the old ones running. So if you want to know what a 1987 911 Carrera cost with the sport seats, you end up in brochure scans and forum threads that don't agree.

This puts it back together. Pick a year and a trim, then build the car from what was actually on the order sheet — real option codes, real prices. It runs in your browser, and nothing you build is sent anywhere.

Where the numbers come from

Window stickers, brochures and EPA records. A price only goes in if the document it came from adds up, and when it doesn't the whole thing gets thrown out. The methodology goes through the rules.

Help fill the gaps

Plenty is still missing — some generations have no option pricing at all. If you have a window sticker, an order guide or an old price list, every table in the wiki has a contribute link on it. Pointing out something that's simply wrong helps just as much.

Open data

The dataset is published under the Open Database License — use it, adapt it, just credit it and keep it open. It's 911s for now, because that's where the paper trail is deepest. More on the about page.

Data sourcing status

Every generation is fully mapped. This table shows how much of each kind of data has been sourced from period Porsche documents so far. Hover any cell for the detail behind it.
